Owner's Message

Hello Campers,

The 2010 camping season is upon is and we are looking forward to welcoming you back to Beachwood for another great camping season.

We have started the year with some great activities. We had over 100 people attend the New Year’s dinner party and Valentines dinner party too. I would also like to thank all of the members who participated in park clean-up day on March 6. These activities were a huge success due to your participation. Thank you and please keep participating. The more participation the more fun activities we can offer. Please watch the website or check with security for upcoming events.

In the off season we have been working hard to improve Beachwood. Here is a brief update of what we have been working on.

I am sure many of you have noticed we have a new phone system and carrier. This will improve customer service and increase efficiency i.e.; no lost calls, busy signals and will reduce future costs. In addition, Comcast cable, phone, high speed internet service will be available to 49 sites in the d-sec along Bay rd. and Jackson rd.

Additionally, we have also completed some big projects such as the infrastructural repairs of two underground water mains and high voltage electrical lines.

Also, we are currently renovating adult women’s bathhouse and it will be open soon.
We are still renovating old rental trailers should have 2 -3 more complete this year. Check with security for updates on when they will be available to rent. We are grating and filling roads and focusing on individual site improvements. We will take the family pool bubble off soon and will open all pools for season.

In closing, as you see, we have completed many improvements and we have many more to do. I understand that things don’t always break or need to be replaced at a convenient time and I apologize for any inconvenience created while we continually strive to improve Beachwood for you.
